Last count of all the Glide threads in Busy Quilting Shop
A few almost empty boxes being packed and sorted

The big PACKING boxes are filling and so is my Garage space.

www.makeitquilted.com.au/store/

now has their shop up and running with all the HabandDash products and Glide Threads

Les and I thank all of you for allowing us to introduce you to HabandDash products and hope you continue to enjoy your journey with them with Monika.

Maybe now I will be able to post more of my piecing and quilting adventures. Plus expect lots of touring quilt piecing pictures.

Sale – Overstocked

HELP….. Overstocked…. SALE ON NOW

I cannot take them all to Australian Machine Quilting Festival. The website is currently hosting a HUGE sale of 5000m spools of Glide Thread, only those currently in stock. I need to be able to fit more in the trailer and in the shop space. My loss is your gain. Once sold out in 5000m spools it will be stocked in 1000m spools, so always available.

Quilt Designs for Feathered 5iever

Unfortunately the Artist Statement touring with Feathered 5iever has been totally confusing, so I thought I would share some of the design processes for the quilting of 5iever, while it trips to Sydney with hopefully a corrected label.

First photo taken on my phone and I knew the balance wasn’t correct and that start would need to be moved.
It wasn’t fitting with the swirl I envisioned, so reconstruction began
Moved and flow feels better, spiral idea starts to form
Then the idea of the secondary star came into play.
I wanted to feel the scale of the swirl, before I started quilting.  This was on the quilt top for quite a few  weeks until I got to start quilting.
